About Us

History Of Kingsland Islamic School Complex

It has always been a desire to get a very good Islamic school. The thirst of acquiring a very good Islamic school where unadulterated Arabic is blended with solid formal education became so immense in our hearts.

Despite being surrounded by so many schools, not less than five with very short proximity to our home. All these schools could not meet our desire. The basic most essential elements we sorted, Islam was not part of their curriculum. Hence, the need to create an environment where children feel the warmth, love and comfort while acquiring formal education in addition to growing their Islamic Adaab (manners) and knowledge.

Kingsland Islamic School Complex started indoors in our then sitting room with just two learners, my daughters Salmah and Mardiyyah. My wife and I were their teachers. We taught them English, Arabic, Qur’an, writing, Adaab and other things we deemed relevant to their development. Later upon relocating to Kotokrom the school again run for a whole term and was officially opened to the general public in 2019

Our very first formally and recognized academic term started with 15 learner’s and the term ended successful with 37 learners’. The number of enrollments kept on increasing at each passing term and as at January 2022 the population of the school is 107 with classes from Creche to Basic four
